they marked the million milestone in golf's. came out 88-89 and are marked one in a million on the owners handbook

what all work are you needed done? if you need help to questions then ask on here. there is plenty of knowledge floating about

if your lookin actual mechanics to do it then the likes of Performance VW and Golf+ mags have loads of adverts for VW specialists who dont charge the massivly overinflated VAG prices!!

no registrar for them

it should be an E-reg 1988

To celebrate 10 million Golfs. Sold in 1988.
Oak Green, Helious Blue and Black. 14" Le Castellet wheels. Rainbow trim interior. Half tint rear lights.
Small bumper, one piece front windows (1988 year spec.)

After these models Oak Green and rainbow interiors were not seen again until the 1990 model year big bumper cars.

it is also marked One in a million on the service book/manual

here is a pic of what the wheels should look like

It is certainly a campaign registared on an 88 E reg, has mint raibow trim, le Castelle 14'' alloys central locking and original stero, it doesnt have the one in a million owners manual just a plain vag one. The colour is swartz black metalic but look a really darkish grey. Engine is currently in bits as it has no compression and hasnt started for the last 6 yrs. However the body work is mint and hope to soon have a fully functioning Mk2 Campaign unmolested as no big bumbers or ad ons have been fitted. I am the 2nd owner.

it really gets me that someone gets a limited edition car - and starts swapping bits.

gee, customise the standard cars, but leave the limited editions alone.

I know, tell me about it. There is a set of the original wheels that it came with for sale at the moment.

Been tryin to pusuade her to buy them and put it back to standard, as the oak green is lovely car.

Nothing to do with the fact that i`ll have her bbs ra`s if she does ;D
