Title: aircon in mk4

Hi guys,

I bought mk4 '99, 1.9  golf on last friday(the 13th!!), and didn't notice anything wrong with it.

Unfortunately 2 days after the aircon failed: it started making a strange noise  for about 2 minutes and stopped working. :sad:
I've tried to find anything relevant to this fault and the results were scarrrry-the replacement cost reaches the amount I paid for the car.

Could anyone advise, please?

hey, welcome to the forum.

sorry to hear about the troubles with the car, try doing a search in the mk4 section to find an answer and if you can't find anything then ask in the mk4 section. they should be able to help you out.  :cool:
