Title: airbag light

Hi

I've just spent the day stripping out all the unwanted interior of my mk4 1.8T GTi today ready for trackday kit going in :smiley:

Problem is I'm putting race seats in without the use of air bags and Ive now got airbag light up on dash?

Anyone know what I need to do with the seat wires and front seat belt wires to correct this and get light to go out on dash?

need to wire in a resistor to fool the car into thinking the airbag seats are connected

any idea what type of resistor eg 2 ohm 0.25w?? etc

and which wires need linking out?

is earth left out or put to body and live, nutral linked?

as you will guess Im not electrician lol  :huh:
