chequerplate for use as mats in my tintop??  can they be bought to fit?   seen some dubs with it as door cards as well.  so does someone sell it or is it a fabricating job??

u can buy mats with the plate and a yellow edge from halfords aswell as sheets of it. making the door cards would be a do it yourself job unless you've seen somewhere I haven't that sells them

hi vix

i have been looking at getting some of these for me own motor.
i am not too impressed at paying ?50 for what is just two cut to size pieces of ally.

i am going to price up some chequer plate and make me own instead.

thanks guys,

i had chequerplating on the brain today as one of the machines at work is covered in it, seems there must be a differnet strengths as some landrovers have the knight in shining armour look too  8)

im gonna try sourcing some locally and see what happens when i start cutting  :o
