Title: well replaced the tyres
Post by: northeast_gti-t on 15 November 2009, 01:11
the time had come to get the two fronts replaced as one was down to near 2mm so didnt want to risk problems tbh i was going to replace them with some more f1 gsd'3s after encountering monsoon like conditions on the way home from work last night they didnt disgrace themselves but in the end i called into a local tyre centre in the town were my parents live yesterday morning and got two continental sports contact 2's fitted also my tracking was slightly out so they adjusted that so had a good chance last night to get them bedded in with 170 miles of driving and in varying road conditions to i'm impressed with now the lack of road noise as the f1's did make a fair bit of noise (maybe as they were well worn  :undecided:) so thats a plus as i can hear the miltek more so thats good with the tracking sorted the front end seems to want to grip and is alot more responsive imo so have to see how they fair up to the gsd 3's
