Post by: ben harcombe on 14 November 2009, 22:29

My golf has a 2Y box on an abf block in a mk2 if the car were high enough off the floor would the box come straight out the bottom or would i have issues with the inner wing??

Any pointers welcome i've got to do my clutch in the next few weeks

the way i do it is rotate box so diff is pointing straight up, that helps it clear everything. alweays gonna be a pain in the arse but you'll get there.

That is the easiest way to do the job, and how i've always done it.
