Title: Just bought myself a Mk3 Golf GTI

Hi Folks,

Picking up a MK3 GTI next week, needs a wee bit of work to get it back up to scratch but over all it looks decent enough for the price.  Its a 3 door M Reg with 78k miles on the clock.

Looking to get it back on standard alloys and lowered.  Apart from that Im just going to give it a good machine polish and clean.

Any comments, thoughts etc welcome

Its a 8v, distributor cap packed in just before I was about to collect so not gettin it til 2moro night now as the guy is getting it fixed before he sells which isnt too bad!

There a lot of Scottish members?

where abouts you from. there are a few Scottish members but not that many..

Yea it was decent of him to fix it, took it for another test drive before I parted with the cash and its running sweet as

Im in Falkirk, slap bang in the middle lol
