Title: Converting km/h to mph
Post by: herbie911 on 14 November 2009, 14:00
Just need help from you guys again!
Been spending the last hour going thru the car manual---setting it up for my own preferred setting. Got baffled how to covert the speedo (digital) from km/h to mph.
I just cannot locate it on my MFD! Thanks for any tip!

Don't think you can do that, you have KMH on the dials all the time and MPH on the speedo. The only thing I have seen is changing how you want the MPG worked out. GB gallon, US gallon or in Liters.

Could be wrong though

It's a legal requirement that the car display speed in both mph and kph simultaneously. As the Mk6 doesn't have kph calibration on the speedo the digital display shows it. Welcome to the EU.

Thanks guys for saving me the embarrassment! I was planning to ring the dealer up this coming monday!
I am a perfectionist. Feel uncomfortable when everything on the display is in miles except the most important info on the dash!
What a stupid law!
I just have to look on the bright side! If I used the digital speedo only, I will never get a speeding ticket---even 100km/h=62.5mph!
