Lots of guides on here for changing the seat bases (i.e. the easy bit!) but not much for the seat backs. I'm trying to change the foam and fabric over. I've separated the base from the back and managed to unclip the fabric and foam at the bottom of the back, but I'm not sure how to get it past the headrest guides at the top.
Any ideas?
It's a 5 door, so no tilt handle to worry about.

Done this on my mk1 seats. You 'simply' ease the fabric carefully around the guides with a stiff, blunt object. Tricky, but do-able.

Managed to get it done!
Took some pictures on the way too, so I'll post a guide later.

I gave up when I couldn't get the bloody headrest off!

headrest or the guides?
headrest 'should' just pull out once you remove the lockign clips. sometimes they can be a proper mare though! once the headrest is off the guides can be released using a ring spanner to release all 4 clips at the same time, cant recall off hand what size i used in the end.

I did something similar, but I used the female end of a 3/8" extension
