Title: What size is the crank pully bolt?
Post by: Jay on 14 November 2009, 10:34
Need to know ASAP so I can turn the bastard thing by hand, tried pulling the t-belt and shifting it with my hands, no go so need to know what size it is so I can go out and get the right size (my socket collection is tiny  :embarassed: ).

Cheers!

You could just put the car in gear and rock it ;)

19mm sounds right.

its a 12point bolt, so use a 12 point socket for better grip. i undid it by momentarily turning the engine over with the starter.

Yup made sure it was a 12 point, I had a 19mm 6 point but didn't fit, so picked up a 12 point 18mm, 19mm and 20mm... which I needed anyway
