Title: golf gt tdi diesel advice

hi all

new to this site im looking to bag myself a golf gt tdi 130 or 150 thought this might be a good place to join in the hope of any info anyone could give does anyone on here own one ? mayby you could give any advice on buying one what goes wrong etc etc

I have a feeling there will be people who own one on the golf forum....

I have the 150 one and ive not had any problems with it, get it remaped and your away!

I love my PD150 but Golfs don't come without problems..feel like mine is a money pit at the moment..have spent close to £600 in the last 2 weeks now  :cry:

All be it some of the problems were just wear & tear but it all seem to happen at once !

TDI'S are the best for fuel and servicing but if your a speed junkie then in the  long if your a petrol head like me then get the 1.8t and get it mapped, no good on mpg but great for a blast! Otherwise if mpg is important then get a TDi! Easy as that!
