Title: Opening doors without remote!

When I asked dealer how to open the doors in the event of the remote malfunctioning I was told that there is a flap on the door handle which you lift up and heh presto etc etc!!

How does this flap lift up?  mine will not move, ended up breaking 2 fingernails and short of taking  a sharp implement to it (which I don't want to do) can't think of how to get it open. 

Any ideas? thnx in advance.

The key fits quite niceley into a gap under the handle cover and you lever of the cover (carefully).
