I'm guessing you mean the vision of beauty in this thread: http://www.golfgtiforum.co.uk/index.php?topic=134543.0
And I think it has popped up in other threads and on other forums too. Pay attention at the back.

Saw a black on in the metal yesterday at my local dealer, absolutely hideous, and all the staff i spoke to agreed!
And how much ffs

Had a look at the Mk6 GTI's they have for sale on the VW used car website. I guess they are mainly ex-demo's but I'm surprised to see around 60 cars are available across the country as my dealer told me they are 'in extremely high demand'... guess he means factory orders.

Back to the  Golf, has anyone else seen the similarly ruined Scirroco in VW Driver mag?
Edit: Abt link added.

Black one that had been modded do you mean or just a normal black gti. mine is black unmodded and in my opinion looks the bees knees.

Congrats on the new family addition.

New un-registered ones are in short supply but there are loads of ex-demos about. Nobody is buying them because they are so bloody expensive. Who's going to pay nearly 30k for a used Golf when they know that the £4k worth of extras on it are going to be worth zip at trade in time?

Now that depends whether you swallow the Bullsh!t the sales rep will try and feed you, then stick another Bonus 2k on its forecourt price tag.
Extra's will go in your favour if the dealer REALLY WANTS your car and wants the bussiness / deal.
