Title: HIC insurance quote
Post by: tobz. on 04 October 2004, 13:18
Just got a cracking quote from HIC on my new toy  ;D
Fully comp, agreed value policy for a whopping ?20 less a MONTH than I'm paying at the minute.
Only condition is I have to get some decent thatcham security fitted, well I would have done that anyway.

Oh yeah and I got my 5% discount for mentioning the mighty golfgti.co.uk forum - nice one John cheers

Well paid a deposit on it at the minute. Just waiting for the guy to sort out some paperwork and then I'll be going back with a wad of cash.
As for the spec.........er.........totally standard oak green 3door valver. Only thing that has been changed is the headunit. BBS could do with reconditiong but my azevs will be going on anyway.

Pics to follow when I get my hands on it.

Yep hopefully the search will have been worth the wait. Few little minor issues with the car but nothing that justified walking away. Very straight bodywork and some of the best fitting doors I have come across on a 3door.

Yep some of us definately use the offers, I've spent hundreds through Stuart at europarts, now the HIC quote and as soon as I've got my single headlight grille I'll be taking advantage of the powerbulbs offer.

Can recommend them too. They cover me for track days & any mods as long as it don't raise the bhp by more than 10 bhp. How cool. And all for 400 notes a year!!
