Title: can i put g60 charger on my mk2 gti 1.8 8v.....HELP

bought a j plate mk2 gti 1.8 8v, just want to know if i can put a charger on to it as it is the same as the g60 i think

yes you can with absolutely sh!t loads of work, do a search! there are various threads on this and other forums on g60 conversions, start there

but 'bolt on' is pie in the sky  :huh:

It's not the same and no you can't.  You have a high compression PB motor and the low compression PG motor, which is designed to accept boost gracefully is a very different and more specialised animal.

just chuck a whole g60 motor in thre not exactly expensive or hard to find, however chargers are
