Does anyone on here have the AGU and Rtech stage2 map and boost gauge?

Can you do a few runs and tell me what boost you hit in 2nd/3rd/4th and 5th gear? Also does yours spike and settle(what psi?) and what are you running at redline? You might not want to try 4th and 5th redline on the public highway :evil:

Looking forward to the results,so i can start eliminating things.

i wouldnt try 3rd in red line on a public highway eiter use a private road as u wil get over a ton

Trying to get an idea if mine is running correctly,on my way home from r-tech i could get 21psi on the gauge(2nd gear),now i'm lucky to get 17psi and wondering what over peoples car of the same spec boost at.

interesting you should ask this actually mate...

I've just refitted my C valve as since I had the clutch done I've thought something was amiss as I could do the same as you, 20psi ish dropping to 18psi ish. I fitted the F at the same time I had the clutch done and ever since then it's only hit 16psi and had lost the warp factor 9 feel I liked.

I still think the C valve I have is faulty though as it seemed to stall on a 2nd gear run earlier but it seemed like I was holding 20psi when I glanced down at the gauge in 3rd!

So in a nutshell the F doesn't suit my map for some reason so I'll have to find another C from somewhere...

but my AUM hits 17psi and either stays there, or rolls back to about 15PSI. Running yellow spring and N75 F. Or it sometimes hits 15PSI and stay there...

Although waiting for a really dry day to test it...I may get some video filmed.

K03 spec1 maps should be seeing 17psi peak and 14 held
K03s spec2 = 21psi peak with 18psi held with turbo VE tail off linear towards the redline.

AUMs and ARZs boost spot on 95% due to a far more advance me7 ecu set up and the system using a MAP sensor and load based mapping to control the boost levels, if the car is down of boost for some unknown reason the ecu can compensate (with in reason) to make the lost boost up and power.  using the same map on 10 AUM 9 of them will always make reauested power.

The AGUs use the older Motronic 5 ecus (Bosch m3.8) which uses duration mapping in milliseconds rpm/MAF to control the power, the ecu cannot see how much boost the car is running, it can record the volume of air going into the engine.  The problem with just seeing air flow without map is that the car cannot really compensate for mechanical losses of boost, ie vac/boost leak, weak springs, lazy N75 ect..
On a good working car with the correct mechanical setup the AGU-ko3s map should make a peak of 21psi 240lbft and higher up thr rev range 227-235bhp.  The problems with the AGUs are that when using the same mapping on 10 AGU ko3s cars they will all give differing boost characteristics, but in theory they all should make 21psi peak, but some make 17-18psi and some over shoot to 23psi?

Lots of great advice,but still no hard facts of what people running stage2 ko3s conversions are hitting peak and holding to red line.Second and third gear runs will be great if someone could do it for me.

Patch i blame you for what happend to me earlier  :angry: :angry: lol! i went down work do a couple of runs FOR YOU!, i started, put it in 2nd hit 18psi changed into 3rd planted my foot it hit 22psi and then POP :shocked:(sh!t myself!! car lost all power and then stalled) i'd only blown the intercooler pipe off i shatted the jubilee clip (the one that connects to the pancake pipe!) GREAT  :evil: so had to ring the AA, the nice man re-attached my pipe and off i went!...........Slowly :laugh:

Oooops :grin:

I've just been out and fitted the N75F and it's boosting much higher now,19psi in second and way over 21 psi in third,looking foward to what it will do on some uphill motorway sections.

Still not convinced that i don't have a boost leak mind,will be doing a home made smoke test soon.

My mate has a home made boost leak tester,i'm going to get a can of smoke in a can and squirt some in before we pressurise the system,the smoke will clearly show any boost leaks :wink:

See this is strange, mine doesn't boost as high with the F, it likes the C...

When the AGUs with ko3s are running spot on..ie 21psi then 18psi they are awesome, infact more FUN than my own 24psi 310bhp 355lbft Calibra Turbo.

Keep me updated Patch on your N75 findings and combination ect..

@DarkGti  I remember your car hitting 22psi on the dyno during the 23*bhp power run.

I think Topher wants me to map his car to MAX power to see how much the ko3s can really push on the dyno. His AUM should be running 191% load request @24-25bhp with 100% N75 duty cycle with as much timing advance as we can using some 102 race fuel from Xspec.  The last map tweaks took him to 225bhp 250lbft with a load more to go on the boost side of the mapping .. :smug:

This wont be a map we will use on the road / customers cars.. Its for our own R&D just to see what is a realistic MAX power the KO3s can push on a small port head, we are not going to be testing how long the turbo will last for...lol 

Topher has been asking about this for weeks now...I think its time to play if it goes wrong he still has 3 more car to drive to work in.
