Title: 1990 digifant problem

Hi there.Just bought a 1990 gti,runs a bit lumpy,Last owner has put on an lnduction kit,can anyone tell me where the vacuum pipes go.The small black pipe on the left of the body is pluged up,the one on the right goes 2 where the airbox once was,now it has a small k/n type filter,there is nothing on the fuel/reg i think???????.are these right?.CHEERS mark

run the right hand vac nipple to the fuel pressure regulator direct and bin the airbox pipe completly. the fact nothing is on there would explain the poor running! the left most nipple and the one round the back should both be blanked off.

thanks for that.fixed the pipes,when ticking over the revs seem 2 go up&down and settles out when warm?.

check the idle switch clicks when the throttle is closed, and the wires to it haven't snapped. the idle switch is underneath the tb.
check for vacleaks too, especially look at the rubber bung in the rocker cover for the breather valve. prone to splitting round the lip
