Seem that black 5 door ACC equipped GTIs are the most popular cars

Generally the demographic of the MKVI GTI owner would be for a 5dr as 3dr prospective owners tend to get sidelined with the Scirocco too

lol black 5 door on order, still not sure regarding getting ACC (being a tight git for no other reason other than not sure if it's worth £700 due to mixed reviews of yes or no can't really tell the difference).

JellyCat if you can afford ACC get it, it is a gimmick yes! but it's a good gimmick and now that I've added just over 1000 miles to my car I am beginning to notice a real difference in the settings.
I think if you don't get it you may regret it as you hear how peeps are finding the benefits of it. But that is just my take on it and it is of course a matter for you to decide, best of luck.

Hmmm 5 doors are stonking ahead!
Seems like lot's of dads or Mums out there (sweeping statement ;)

Hard to know how to vote, because I'm ecstatically happy with every little bit of the car. But I would have had a 3-door if it had only been for me.
This weekend, though, I had to do a lot of running other people around in a car-sharing deal, and it would have been a nightmare with a 3-door.
Rolfe.

Voted 5 door and happy with 5 door, however every day I see a 3 door GT in work (in silver) and it just looks so right from some angles where the mk5 never did. The mk5 looked lardy in 3 door form but that sharp little crease along the top of the flanks of the mk6 just gives it a new perspective. I suppose VW had to do something to sharpen the look of the 3 door else nearly everybody would have ordered Sciroccos. That would have really upset the German unions.
