Title: New to VW need some help on choosing..

Well Hi there my name is Scott Im from Essex..

Looking to purchase in the very near future a MK2 GTi

What is the main items to look for or look out for when viewing ie RUST and Electrical/Mechincal issues etc

I will have between £2-£3k to spend..

Any advice would be great..

Hey mate and welcome to the site. There is a search bar at the top of the page that allows you to search the entire forum for the answers and then i think, hidden in the top two links on the main mk2 board there is a buyers guide hidden!
