Title: New to VW need some help on choosing..

Well Hi there my name is Scott Im from Essex..

Looking to purchase in the very near future a MK1 GTi or MK1 cab..

What is the main items to look for or look out for when viewing ie RUST and Electrical/Mechincal issues etc

I will have between £2-£3k to spend..

Any advice would be great..

go for a tintop if you can and sign up to www.mk1golf.org

there is a guide on there on what to look out for on both cabs and tintops  :wink:
