Really considering having this done wat u guys think
(http://i890.photobucket.com/albums/ac106/callumc1989/DSC_0456.jpg)

tbh I dont like it better then the standard, However I do like the 330bhp that car is
-
Abt engine and chassis work - fab. Abt body kit styling - not fab. If you paint the bits around the LED's and fogs black and use a standard Golf/GTI grille it would look less awful.
-
Sorry but that front end is
-
Omg really lol i think it looks quite smart
-
maybe ditch the grill and just have the bumper :undecided:
-
Thats horrid!
-
May aswell just get a bucket of white paint and throw it over the entire frontend
-
Thats horrid!
See what you said here http://www.golfgtiforum.co.uk/index.php?topic=133251.20 (http://www.golfgtiforum.co.uk/index.php?topic=133251.20)

In fairness that looks nothing like the photo above

Seriously? Maybe you should be on a Focus RS forum or even Vauxhall? I think there is potential there to make it tasteful but not much. Putting a standard Golf GT grill on there to tone it down a bit would be a start (similar to the Golf R treatment) and maybe painting bits of it black/dark grey. But if you're going to go to that trouble you may as well buy a Golf R bumper or wrap the middle bits of the standard GTI bumper in a different colour to the funny black/grey that it comes from the factory in. My mate has a GTI app on his iphone and the car on that has a coloured bit in the front of the bumper. Looks quite nice. Did the Worthersee edition have something like that too? Or was it the GTI Street?
-
I shouldnt even be considering it because im not bored of how my gti looks but i fancy doing something different. has anybody heard of Rieger ?? there body kits are disgustingly nice for the rocco
-
Yeah Rieger do some nice stuff and some awful stuff too. They do a nice front spiler for the mk5 Golf but that's about all I can think of at the moment!
I'm old and just don't like lairy bodywork. Golfs are about being subtle, discreet, bit of class but no snobbery. If I wanted lairy bodywork I'd have got a Scirocco, saved a few quid and had more kit as standard. Maybe that's what you ought to think about getting instead?
Save your money for some LED tail lights and 19'' wheels, the factory styling is pretty much as good as it's going to get as standard. You have the wide mouth frog look of the standard GTI or the Thunderbunny front of the R to choose from. I honestly don't think messing about with the styling is going to win you any extra kudos, the things are rare enough on the roads as it is!

Don´t care much for the placement of those leds. Looks like something someone would do in their garage on a Volvo 240, making it "cool".
Verdict: Fugly!
-
That looks like a metro from the 80s
-
there is usually a fine line between tasteful and ugly and that has crossed it.. in reverse... on fire... driven by a bat... wearing shades... and pink ankle socks!!

Don't do it! Golfs are meant to be understated.
-
First impression of the car's photo (and I guess what I'd think if I saw it pull up to me) and I guess 99% of the world like me who don't have a clue what the car is.....
Uckh!! Looks like somebody's bolted on a cheap body kit from Halfords, looks like a fake golf GTI driven by a 17 year old who spends most of his time in McDonalds drive thru's
Sorry just my thoughts. Even with that power would still have to drive with a paper bag over my head.
-
Having spent the most money I have ever spent on a car in my life, I am absolutely in love with my GTI and the way it looks as it is, I have no inclination to remap, restyle or anything else I have enough brownie points round here for owning a VW and the kudos that comes with the GTI. Me? I'm happy enough. Anyway imho that car looks like sh!te!!
