Title: Correct tyre pressures ???
Post by: Burnsy on 01 October 2004, 13:51
Just been to pump my tyres up at the local garage and according to the "Michelin" guide it states that the Mk 3 Golf Vr6 tyres should be pumped up to 38 psi on the front and 35 psi on the rear.
This seems a bit excessive to what ive normally used on previous cars ive owned.
Does anyone know if these are correct ?

Not sure if that's correct but you should find a sticker on one of the door pillars which will give you the tyre pressures.

Oh yeah I forgot they put if the fuel flap on some models.
I would say that high pressure could be right as the vr6 is a pretty heavy engine.
