Just got my gti ready 4 winter, Flushed system out and new anti freeze, And guess what goes an happens,, Go on i dare you,, :cry: :cry:

you just found out that that cap on the top of the engine, you know the plastic black one with the lil can on it

is not where you refill the coolant?

If its anything like me - just as you've put 5L of fresh coolant in - it leaks out the thermostat flange because GSF sell sh!tty sh!t parts.

But I'm going with broken indicator bulb.

filled the engine up with antifreeze and the radiator up with oil ?

more likely it's allready pee'ed all the antifreez out and now just has water in again

Well what happened was, i pulled up at shop and as it was on a hill noticed water runnin all down the road, Bottom hose split of radiator, Now i gotta mess about in wet sortin it, Oh yeah an get some more anti freeze,, :cry: :cry:

Before you refill it check the metal coolant pipe, below the dizzy, for leaks and rusty bits and make sure none of the other pipes are split, I chased a coolant leak around the car, replaced the heater matrix and metal pipe and must have bled it 3 times which is a waste of G12 coolent eh?

At least the uncle Bulgaria didn't take it off your drive!
