Title: Will ABS warning light coming on sometimes fail the MOT?
Post by: fingermouse1911 on 30 September 2004, 23:25
Hi,

I have a 95 Mk3 16v, the ABS light comes on sometimes.  Will this fail the MOT?  Also if I want to check the ABS out... what should I look for?

Regards

Simon

Get the fault code read .  The code reader need to talk to the ABS module.

Yes indeedy, plus what happens if you stuff it in accident and its found that 1) the ABS was faulty or 2) the bulb had been removed...

My guess is you would get shafted
