They are the ATE callipers from a late GTI - 288mm I'd say.
Same callipers as TT/S3 but they won't be 312mm discs as they won't fit under 15" wheels...so must be 288s.

Late as in mk4?
I wish I'd known before I bought hoses all round!
Cheers mate, at least I know before I buy the wrong pads aswel.

No, late as in late Mk3.
Mk4 callipers (288s) are the same, but Mk4 discs have a 6mm larger offset...so Mk4 288s or Mk4 312s/TT 312s/S3 312s will all fit but all need a 6mm spaced between the calliper carrier and hub...and 6mm longer bolts to fasten the lot together.

As far as I'm aware, TT/S3/4 Motion 312mm ATE callipers, Mk4 288mm ATE callipers and late Mk3 288mm ATE callipers are all the same, and use the same pads.

The only differance in the Mk4 onwards ATE calipers is that the flexi hose connection is in a differant place to the late Mk3 ones.
