Headed to Mr_Oranges neck of the woods today. Using his car as our guinea pig ( mine was hot remember...) we successful completed an N249 bypass. So with mine cool we proceeded and managed to do it in about an hour for mine. Sun was going down but it all turned out ok.
The drive home was good, feels much better through the rev range an makes a funky dumping noise now. Think coil pack number 4 was slightly out but pushed it down so it's all good - didn't see this previously as it's below the vacuum resovoir that's now removed.. Maybe that's why it feels better. No engine lights or anything either.
Also did a scan and got the dreaded 17705 back, but that hadn't been cleared for a while so I'll re-scan in a few days!
Thanks to Mr_Orange for his help and also for lending me another N75 to see how I get on with that!

Cheers yo, a most excellent afternoon.
Yes, its not complicated, but is certainly easier second time round!
I'll give it a proper test tomorrow and report back. :nerd:

I've got to pick the Mrs up in a second so may give it some further testing. She conveniantly took her keys for her car to work with her.

Good stuff

Seems so much better to drive! But that may be explained by the coil pack! Next is to get the breather hose sorted!
