Use the Search tool - there's loads of info in here and (I think) the Mk5 section.

Das, who is going to code it for you? You need someone with VAG.com to activate the phone kit (2 minute job, ticking a box on a computer screen).
Are you reasonable competent mechanically? Got torx bolt sockets/drivers?
-
Vw are going to activate it for me and I have the torx screws but I'm not exactly clued up with electrics

Mate, i might suggest getting them to fit it for you if you're not sure. For someone mechanically minded it looks very straight forward so if you can't figure it out by looking you might be better off paying them (no more than 1 hour labour though!!). Not saying your NOT mechanically competent though fella!!
If you fancy it yourself i'lll dig out my old thread on fitting it and post in here.
Cheers

OK, there's some info here

First, remove headunit facia plate (I used a blunt cutlery knife). Prise the cover off gently as it snaps into place.
Now remove headunit with the four torx bolts
Now unplug the headunit, plug in the fiscon, plug the leads back into the fiscon plug
Wrap the bluetooth box in bubble wrap to stop it rattling when positioned behind the headunit.
Plug the mic into the box and route the cable down through the dash cavity and locate mic where you please.
Bolt it all back together, probably need to recode stereo as well as set up the phone on vag.com

Vw are fitting it for me but they said we never seen it before and we don't know how to fit it ?

VW are fitting it and they can't figure out how????? I'm sure a decent mechanic will have it in in 15 mins.
As for the mic, I just slipped mine inside the door seal rubber. Primitive but it works...

Try Googling for "Fiscon installation manual" and you should come across a couple of pdf guides. Had mine fitted today, but it doesn't come with any kind of owner's manual. Fortunately the fitter knew his stuff and we had it set up and synced to my phone in 10 minutes.

the wires that connect the 2 little black boxes does one end plug into the radio and the other connects to a plug you have to detach from the radio ?? or do u have to do any wiring because one end of the little black boxes just looks like it holding the wires in place ???
-
spot on! unplug original wiring, plug in fiscon in its place, plug wiring into fiscon, all plug and play. Can you figure out how to connect/disconnent those plugs?
-
so no excuse for a vw mechanic to say i cant fit that taking it in tomorrow should be interesting to see what the say

print this and take it in but really, it's very simple.

Das, if a VW mechanic can't fit it, I would be seriously concerned about taking my car there for any work at all
It is literally plug n play. The plugs can't fit anywhere else. Its a bit like

Seriously though, its a 5 minutes job and the route to run the mic up to the A frame is obstacle free so that also should only take a couple of minutes.
You shouldn't even have time for a complimentary coffee
