Quick question - has anyone fitted a k03s to a pre 2000 1.8T (150) which has the k03 as standard? how hard is it and does it require any new parts from VW? Also whilst on the subject - if you have had a R-Tech remap done to the car whilst it has the ko3 would it a new remap done after fitting the ko3s?
Thanks in advance for help!
Chris

Cheers buddy exactly what i was after :)

If you're doing it yourself be prepared for a big job, myself and Patch found it very time consuming and fiddly

Just done it, unbolt old one bolt up new one, but my engine is already out and on an engine stand. Replace the two gaskets and the studs/bolts from turbo to downpipe :)
Edit:follow that how to, but for the extra few bolts and jubilees to drop the engine out it's a hell of a lot easier :)
