not a bad price at all me thinks,
anyone used this company before ??? they seem pretty good,
-
for that price matey its going to be one of them cheapo ebay ones that you have to chop the bumper to bits to make it fit!
-
Looks like the ebay jobby to me.
-
all can do is fone up and ask if need to cut the bumper away or not!!
does the 1.8t have same pipe work for intercooler as the gt tdi's?
Euan

i have been looking around for a fmic but i cant seem to fnd one that looks very good for around the figure of £200-250 . i just cant afford the forge one at £550+
-
Be a guinea pig then  :lipsrsealed:
-
u have to cut the bumper a little for the Forge one aswell though
-
know what you mean about the cost of the forge one tbh i'm tempted by the one you put a link to but maybe alter the pipe fitment as r-tech were going to run theirs ie no pipe over the top of the engine and instead run one to the lower boost hose with map sensor fitment(aum) and the other side around the back of the fmic to the lower p/c pipe fitment obviously the front bumper will need modding to suit but for the price who cares i have spoken to nick about the possible idea of this
-
to be fair i wouldn't mind trimming my standard bumper.
-
yea but they look cack!

Nope
-
thats the cheapo ebay one, some fit, others dont it luck of the draw tbh but 99% of the time the fit is terrible!
-
Get an ebay A4 FMIC, they are 3cm taller, alot thinner and a ithink like 2cm's less in width, could give that a go?
