This Golf GTI Mk2 is a real head turner, there is no Rust, no dents or scratches. The car is running at about 130BHP and drives really nice - pulls really well, all the way through in every gear. The car is slammed on coilovers and with the front engine mounts welded the car handles like a dream. The car sounds great with the Pipewerx exhaust system with the 2inch exit complimented by the K&N filter. BBS alloys are a compliment to the neat look of the car with the excellent Helios blue paintjob.
MOT till June 2010
Taxed till April 2010
I am selling my Mk2 Golf GTI due to a change of circumstances, I know need a family car with 5 doors!! I will be sorry to see this car go, it is so much fun to drive and looks ever so impressive, this is the third Mk2 I have owned and this car even with the high mileage is by far the best to drive.

Fascinating.
I like to RANDOMLY CAPITALISE words to help attract people to my for sale adverts - it really helps with search engine optimising as well as making the line far less readable.
-De-wipered
Wow - you removed the wipers?
The car is slammed on coilovers and with the front engine mounts welded the car handles like a dream.
You welded the engine mounts?
How and why in the f*ck would you do that?
It doesn't handle like a dream, it just feels edgey because you've lowered it too far, thus taking the roll-centre below the road surface.
The whole thing sounds minging, I'll give you £20 and a thick ear for abusing a Golf2 as it sounds like you have.

Sometimes I think DH should be PM. Only sometimes though.

Hilarious!!
No, really, what have you done with your engine mounts? I'm curious. I've seam-stitched by control arms and it may/may not have improved the handling. I've been thinking about stitching the subframe, too.
What have you done?
-
Dont think this guy has done anything to it! Why he doesnt know how much its worth!

No idea how my mechanic did it.......!!!
he told me with the engine welded there would be no give in the engine bay when cornering, and to be fair he was just about right....it handles really well!
Feel free to come and simply drive the car and see the handling for yourself!!
and thanks for the Sarcasm.....!!!

Pictures of work, or STFU.

Engines are on rubber mounts for a reason.. cos they vibrate and stuff, surely welding it straight in is a massive no no as the metal will become rigid and just snap off?? I may be wrong though
As for the value... DH is around the right mark

im really interested, it sounds like a really original amazing car. il give you £4250.
