Title: DVD/NAV Speed Camera POI's???

Does anyone know where i can get speed camera point of interest for the DVD/NAV system in the mk6 GTI?
I'm still having to use my navman as i don't trust myself to keep an eye out!

Ady is that actually possible? Sure I read it can't be done but may have misread it!! That was one of the reasons I decided not to upgrade to the RNS510 so I'll be interested in this.

I Hope it's possible, as with most DVD NAV systems there should be a dvd which can load the POI's in.
I'm sure someone on here as looked in to this more than me.  :smiley:

You can create a new DVD with added POIs

You need the original DVD, POI Inspector 3.5 and a data file of your POIs

You then create a new version of the DVD and load it into the RNS510

You won't get any audio notification but you can see them on the map

I created a new version with Red Light cameras and Shell V Power petrol stations on it

do you know where i can get the POI Data file and POI inspector?

For POIs search for TomTom POI in OV2 format (try www.gps-data-team.com)

Get a copy of POI Convertor to convert to ASC format to import into POI Inspector
