it's even worse if you have a mk3 at 17 who only gets £30 a week (15 a week on my dads insurance if he goes half with me, only thing is tesco want £300 upfront the tossers), like me, and i want to buy springs which is a bugger..

They go to a specialist who cater specifically for modified vehicle rather than using a standard insurance company who aren't set up to handle more than a couple of mods. They look at the mods and just think "Big Risk"

WHS ^
are those prices how much you paid for the mods?
How much bhp increase have the exhaust and remap got you?

they take out their own policies and build up some no claims - rather than break the law and pretend to only drive the car once in a blue moon
