Hi all, in the process of giving the car (Golf Mk2 16v GTI '89) a good service. Which leads and plugs are best? My engine is totally standard at the mo but will soon be modifying slightly. Can anyone shed some light on this, cheers

I bought my plugs and leads from the dealer, came to just over £100+vat leads alone were 80ish! I wanted to stay completely OE, you could probably get a better deal from GSF and the like.. 16v's are pretty fussy on what spark plugs they like to get the best performance, so don't skimp!

Bosch plugs and gsf leads on mine, no probs so far.

NGK/Bosch plugs.
IIRC GSF used to carry decent HT leads, but don't do them anymore. I can't remember the brand at all! But last time I was in ECP, they said they sold them.
If I remember the name, I'll post back ;)

I'm running bosch plugs they are fine I was looking into leads a while back and I was planning on getting spit fire leads which are twin core and not that expensive.
