Title: mk5 gti highest spec

Hello guys just has a wander over here question. What did the highest speced mk5 gti come with? Not the edition 30 one tho just the normal 200bhp gti. Also was there many differences between the highest speced one and the edition 30

Do you mean optional extras or engine wise?

Engine wise there was only 1 output over 2 engine codes axx and bwa? i think

ed30 engine is 230hp which is made up from various differant parts including a differant turbo similar to the agu-aum in the mk4 (called ko3 and ko4 aswell but differant turbos than the mk4 engines)

Optional extras include: MFSW, xenons, highline computer, leathers, parking sensors, alloys, sunroof, armrest etc etc

Got an Ed30 myself, from memory the only things over and above the 200PS version were:

extra 30PS, obviously  :laugh:
1/2 cloth 1/2 leather seats (not available on other GTis), front seats heated
2-zone climate control as standard
R32 darkened rear lights
colour-coded bottom skirts (or whatever they're called)
Edition 30 logoing and golf-ball gear lever

I think the Pirelli also had rear tinted windows as standard.

Other than that, the Ed30 and 'normal' MkV (if there is any such thing of course - all GTis go to heaven) were configurable with the same options.

PS - forgot to mention the Pescara wheels. Can't remember what the Pirelli's wheels were called

As above, there were no versions of the GTI other than the Edition 30 and the Pirelli. The standard GTI had the following optional extras:
