Title: golf to vento

hi all, will be purchasing a vento soon after various ownerships of mk3 golfs and my question is, will most parts from a mk3 golf fit onto the 1995 vento? the vento has a 20ltr 8v engine

All parts apart from the exhaust and rear lights etc will swap over.
