Title: How to Get the iPhone Working Perfectly????

Hi -

I'm sorry if this subject has been covered loads of times, but I can't find a recent answer to the issue, which is... how to get the iPhone working:

a. as an iPod where track listings are displayed on the satnav screen; and
b. as a phone which works wirelessly, i.e., bluetooth (I guess?).

I've just ordered a GT (sorry not a GTI) with the satnav option - what additional kit do I need to order for this to happen?

The way the topic is written I thought you were telling us, not asking.

Its already been covered, you need a different cable I believe. Something like a £35 jobby.

Wirelessly ? I dono.

The supplied cable that comes with the car will work the iphone without any problems.

However I don't think the iphone works with the VW Bluetooth offering. You would probably be as well getting the Fiscon to work it.

mate has iphone and fiscon works ok but still a few probs  with it it wont show name up untill call is taken wont allow ring back from a missed call via touch screen in car i thinkkvw one dosent work at all with iphone  :cry:

Hi Pipe, I don't have those issues with my fiscon at all, maybe get yours looked at?

cheers will do. thought it was a general issue for all iphones. does it all work perfect then .
