I think a few dealers offer this but its not an official VW service.  The benefit is that the dealer will honour the warranty if there are any problems.  That particular remap seems very tame for the money  :undecided:

I believe on the continent you can get a Revo remap through the dealers  :cool:

Been discussed before, Not the greatest gains and modifications are warranted by a supplemntary scheme not the factory warranty. Some skoda dealers point theircustomers to Tunit but it's not authorised by skoda in any way.

The VWR remap is normally only £510 + vat fitted? So their charging £900 for a back box and air filter seems a lot to me......

Golf GTI*, Scirocco GT Sport Springs

    * VWR Sport Spring Set
    * 20mm lower ride height

£599 fully fitted

vwr springs are around £175. They must have a dozen F1 mechanics fitting those at that price..

i could do the performance package for about half that price :lipsrsealed:

I am picking up my car today. Really tempted to mod my car as long as the local VW garage that fitted the items will take responsibility if something goes wrong. Does anyone knows any VW DEALER IN THE NORTHWEST that will offer the VWR mods???

Only my opinon, but running the car in first, prob for a good 5k or so would seem to make sense. Worth seeing how you feel about the standard car post run in as well. Eg I notice that I'm getting wheelspin from sharp exits from a junction. More power could accentuate that.
