Title: ac for golf G60 rally
Post by: no name on 27 September 2004, 14:10
Hello all..
I have a golf GTI 16v mk2 year model 1990 and I?m considering trading it to golf G60 rally year model 1989. the problem is the rally doesn?t have air conditioning and Israel is a very hot in the summer.
Is it possible to install ac in it? like from a coraado G60...? is it difficult?
Thanks...

ps.. what would you choose - corrado G60 or that rally?
what handles beter?

personally id look for a car with air con already fitted. fitting it can be done but it'll be a very costly & time consumin job.

plus i think the original gas used in the aircon is hazardous and can only be worked on by qualified people

Rallye will look the dogs and handle better, 4 wheel drive as opposed to 2, but will be more costly to maintain than a g60 corrado.
