Title: Minidisc player getting hot

I'm looking for a vortex type console to put my minidisc until into, as it is getting a tad warm above the heater.

Question.  Will all the cables be able to reach the vortex type console or will I have to re-wire it & what is the best console 2 get

wires should be ok. I thought there was only 1 type of console.
