Title: Front wipers and washers not working??

hello, got a mk5 golf 04 plate and the front wipers and washers are not working? fuses ok, any common problems or things to check???

rear washer and wiper are working fine??

any help would be great.

Might be worth checking that you bonnet is locked down properly / bonnet switch is OK.  IIRC the wipers are disabled when the bonnet is open.

Try opening it and giving a good shove down and spraying some WD40 on the bonnet switch.

lol i was being stupid, i just started an mot and popped the bonnet first thing went to use the wipers and nothing lol, found the answear out on google in the end. luckily i didnt go and fail it, would have looked wel stupid.
