Hi all,
Used my new fiscon bluetooth today (had it fitted saturday). Today I found that when people rang me I could hear interference through the speakers (like when your phone rings next to a normal radio). Has anyone else ha dsomething like this ?
Haven't had this problem before the Fiscon even though the phone is in exactly the same place as it was before
any ideas appreciated !

Yip, have iphone and have experienced this a few times, it's the same sound you hear when your mobile is too close to landline phone, (especially conference phones). The freakiest thing with the fiscon is when you disconnect the iphone from the MDI cable and it syncs up with the fiscon bluetooth audio connection and the music carries on, albeit quieter and only through the front speakers.
Not sure what causes the interference but it goes away if I put the phone in the drivers side door pocket.

This happened for a brief second with me the other day when I was driving but AFAIK it only happens when either the mobile is handing over from one mast to another or when it is just updating its location.
According to my cars timer I have driven it for 28 hours and its happened once so thats not so bad but then I do keep my phone in my pocket and away from the stereo.

Oh right, that makes sense then (mast handover) as the interference only tends to happen on a certain road for me (which was previously a dead-spot for O2). Also I think the iphone is 'noiser' than other phones as it polls email servers every so often too.
