Title: CONFUSED NEED HELP

 ??? Hi there im considering getting a supercharger for my 2.0ltr gti, I know y dnt i get a turbo - i want 2 be different lol lol. but anyways if getting this supercharger can i get a dump valve then or is that only for turbos???

it generates boost, so i would think you can yes.

if all you're interested in is a "pshhhhht" sound though, the latest craze among the nova boys is a false dv, which makes the noises without the minor inconvenience of completely rebuilding the engine to strap a 'charger on.

Having spoken to several people "in the know" as far as 2.0 8v tuning goes, im told the only reasonable supercharger option is the neuspeed bolt-on kit (awesome have one 2nd hand at the mo) but its only built for LHD cars, so you'd need to relocate the brake servo which is a HUGE job.
Now then, these same people "in the know" suggested you have a look at this http://www.badger-5.com/2001/throttlebodies.html .
Badger Bill or "Brembo" Bill as he's often called is well known in the mk4 world for his IHI Jabba'd 400bhp+ (albeit fairly standard appearing from the outside) monster. Drop him an email from that website and he'll point you in the right direction.
