Title: Saved from scrap
Post by: tyler on 18 October 2009, 20:12
Had a phone call of a mate asking if i want any bits of a mk2 for my rado went and had a look and its a 1987 16v golf so after some haggleling and 200 notes later bought it. its been stood for awhile but starts on the button its still moted until end of november ive cleaned a patch and looks like its going to come up well. its had a few mods but not over the top its had debadged grill, m3 lights, scorpion exhaust k&n filter and power roar. im going to give it a good clean and check for faults but so far seems ok no welding needed as i can tell so im happy with that
im just going to check everything and clean it up then thats my new daily driver.

If that tailgate is anything to go by - then it looks rot-tastic :(

I'd be whacking the sills with  a pointy hammer.

tailgate is the worse bit all the sills inner arches, floorpns ect are solid its had welding on the last mot but might get this redone as its not very good. rear arches fill solid but will remove the kit anyhow as i dont want it on there.
