Title: Boost Gauge
Post by: EuanGtTdi on 18 October 2009, 14:09
Hi guys,

was thinking of getting a boost gauge as my pal got one is his caddy van and i liked, was just wondering if i need the egr delet pipe to fit this or can fit it to the standard egr?

and is there anything else need?

any help cheers

you don't need the EGR delete pipe; you can tap into the existing pipework.

However you need to make sure this is done tidily otherwise you'll just vent precious boost from the hole you've just made!

easier if you have a egr delete as its got the take off pipe to connect a boost gauge other wise you have to tap a hole in the plastic intercooler pipe

Is yours the 115bhp though?? Might be worth dropping them an email to make sure it will fit.

Fairly sure the EGR is the same  :undecided:

that mate includes everything but would need to see if cld put the smaller 51mm delet pipe in instead of the bigger 57

ah right - thought you'd seen something on Awesome's website

Don't see why not - drop them an email   Only thing I'd be wary about is the quality of the gauge and pod
