Title: light flashing on dash, help needed

hi
  just lately the light above the temprature gauge has started to flash all the time, i know if it flashes now and again it means theres not enough coolent etc, but what does it mean when it does this?? is my car about to die??? :-\

Check your levels, if there is a rush of air, and the reservoir refills itself, when you take the cap off, it could mean your head gasket is on its way out.
