Title: Temp light flashing but gauge works fine

Hi, ive tried to search my problem without luck so here goes.....

the temp light starting coming on intermittantly on the dash an now flashes all the time when driving, but the gauge works fine and the cars drives fine...... any ideas??

the temp light is also a low coolant level warning. if the coolant level is ok, disconnect the plug from the header tank and bridge the pins. if that stops the light flashing you need a new header tank.

if that doesn't fix it or you don't have a level sensor, it could be down to the temperature sensor :)
