Title: Gti wheels?
Post by: Jonny-Mk2Mk3 on 15 October 2009, 22:57
Hi all, I just bought a cheap mk3 8v Gti to take the pressure off my mint mk2 8v
the standard long beach alloys are a bit manky and need 2 tyres so I thought I would get some 'new' ones.
I am looking at these which came off an R reg Gti, but are they mk3 wheels? I dont recognise them so could they be mk4 wheels? They are 15" with 205/50 tyres.

Welcome to the forum and also Mk3 ownership!

Yes, those wheels are off a Mk3 and were fitted to Mk3 GTI 16v's from the factory, so will fit onto your 8v no problem :)

and i will add there early 16v wheels made by speedline and were only fitted in 1994 (the first year of the 16v)
