Title: Looking for the owner of G419WMJ
Post by: laurenceyon on 15 October 2009, 14:54
Please could the owner of G419WMJ get in touch with me. It's a Pearlescent Grey GTI 16V that I sold in May 2006.

My understanding is since I sold the car its never been back on the road as it isn't on the insurance database ( ASKMID.com ) and to my knowledge it is still in my name - I have contacted the DVLA to declare it SOLD.

But... Honestly I would like it back, it had a few problems and this was reflected in the sale price however if its not being used I will buy it back for what i sold it for.

If anyone has the contact details of guys I sold it to, (I think his name was Mark, he came over Ireland to collect) that would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers!

It wont show up on the insurance database, when it gets taken to Ireland they have to reregister them and they are assigned a different plate.

I'm confident the car is still in my name as I never recieved a confirmation letter of transfer/sale from the DVLA so my assumption is it still on the original plates..

Your probably right though, who knows..
