Title: Fault code question

Hi guys

I have an ongoing turbo issue on my tdi and now have the fault code (was diagnosed by a trusted guy with his 7k snap on box of tricks)

Fault code is DTC P1557, which suggests it's an intermitent issue with
the wastegate valve.

Question is, before we go ordering parts has anyone got any knowledge or experience of issues with this code they might like to share?

Could be number of things N75 valve or you somtimes get that code when the vains on the turbo stick  :smiley:

map sensor , n75 or prob turbo vains sticking in turbo ! remove turbo , strip , clean , rebuilb , refit .
