I was thinking of putting some leds behind my VW logo to have it glow slightly. I know you can't have blue lights on the front, but could it be white, or green? not to bright, just enough to be able to see the outline in the dark perhaps.
Cheers.

you can't have green....but white would be fine as long as it's not blinding
-
Cool.
So, can you not have any other colours on the front. Other than white of course?
-
green - emergency doctor
blue/red - emergency services
yellow - recovery vehicles/highways agency
What other colours are there? I'd stick to white.
-
Ah yes, didn't think of the green for doctors :)
Would have been nice to match to the green car, hehe.
So, if it is on the rear, could it be red still? Or perhaps as a third brake light :D (not planning on doing the rear tho anyway)
-
yes to red on the rear. It would be quite a bit of work to sink a recess behind the badge to then light up.

Can't see why not
Wolseley did it for years!

the police used to use a lot of wolseleys... 6/80's, 6/90's etc
we used to have a wolseley six when i was a nipper
i remember my old man telling me that they always used to know when a police car was following him as the grille badge was always illuminated... it took police years to cotton onto this
